dnr laws
I’ve quit Hunting, due to slob hunters and silly laws. It’s either quit, or start hunting hunters.?

I love bowhunting, but have quit. I got sick of lousy hunters tresspassing, stealing treestands, (Chained and locked) and poaching. I’m also discusted with the DNR. They limit baiting, yet ignore tons and tons of illegal bait, and do nothing to enforce laws, even when violations are reported. A Hunter who obeys the game laws, is simply cheated out of early hunting opportunities, because other hunters have ignored baiting restrictions, and behave as though other’s property IS their place to hunt. Hunting is supposed to be a pleasure, not a competition. Anybody else who’s quit hunting out of discust?

I feel for ya brother.I haven’t quit yet but it’s almost to that point. In my state (ILL.)baiting is not aloud. As far as the Tree stands go I went to a climbing tree stand .It’s kind of a pain but I have had better success with it because I can move around if the wind forces me to.The DNR has changed so many laws here to where the poachers can buy one set of archery tags and kill as many deer as they want. They are printed out on paper tags that you tear off when needed.Don’t quit hunting because of the Idiots out there Just get smarter than they are.God bless and keep the dream alive. GOOD LUCK1
